Ishida: automation in the bag
French meat products supplier André Bazin has installed a packing line from Ishida Europe, which is capable of packing products into trays and bags while reducing manual handling and delivering fast accurate weighing.
Bazin is supplies meat products to the ready-meals sector and produces meat products and specialities of the Franche Comte region.
As part of the company's aim to reduce manual handling, the decision was made to extend the automation of its packing processes. A new line was needed to pack bags of 5kg and 10kg, as well as trays from 500g to 2kg for the ready-meals sector. In addition, the new line was also temporarily required to aid with producing flat-bottomed bags of 100g, 500g, and 1kg.
