Budgens launches Chistmas campaign

 - Published:  06 December, 2010

Budgens is embarking on its biggest ever marketing campaign for Christmas 2010.

Media activity will include press, radio, advertisement vans, outdoor posters and, for the first time in almost a decade - television - encompassing both 10 and 20 second adverts.

Media activity will run from 6–21 December and the two ads will air on various ITV regions between 9 and 19 December, capitalising on the fact that, for the most part, consumers will be purchasing the majority of their fresh products closer to Christmas.

Budgens sales director Dan Quest said: “The Budgens team has developed an excellent campaign that will build awareness of the Budgens brand, both re-enforcing messages to our existing shoppers and introducing a whole new audience to our retail partners stores. Delivering market leading deals in such a competitive environment demonstrates the strength of our offer and being able to feature some of our actual retail partners in our advertisements re-enforces how the consumer can support truly local businesses through the strong partnership that exists with our independent retailers.”
