Tican Chilled director Jim Wilkie is set to retire

Tican Chilled commercial director Jim Wilkie is to step down from his position at the end of the week (29 October), the company has confirmed.

Wilkie will continue on the Tican Chilled Board until his retirement on 28 January 2011. He will be replaced by Jason Wilkie as commercial director.

Tican amba sales director Torben Nielsen said: “We would like to thank Jim for his enormous contribution to developing Tican Chilled during the last 10 years. The company has developed from nothing in year 2000 to become one of the biggest wholesale distribution companies in the UK. The customer base has developed from the Midlands area and the company now serves clients in the country.”

Jason Wilkie will take over in his new position on 1 November. He has been part of the Tican management team since July 2003.
