Both butchers and abattoir workers are in demand, especially in South Australia, and many workers from the Philippines are already jumping at the chance for a job in the meat industry. Australia has notoriously tough immigration laws, unless you have the skills they need. So if you fancy a new life down under, being a butcher could be your ticket.
