Foxbury gains a 10 from Strictly judge

 - Published:  18 October, 2010

The first results are in from Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood as he gears up for British Sausage Week in November.

Foxbury Farm was celebrating after getting a perfect 10, when Revel Horwood gave its Gloucester Old Spot pork sausages a gold in the first rounds of judging prior to the national week, organised by Bpex.

Farmer and owner Colin Dawes said “I may not be a good dancer, but I can produce winning sausages. We are all incredibly proud, as the awards reward local ingredients and products.”

British Sausage Week runs from 1-7 November, and the team at Foxbury Farm will be running a competition for customers to put forward their own sausage ingredient suggestions. The winning recipe will then be made by the Foxbury Butchers and the winner will receive some of their very own sausages.
