CAD Schroer launch new version of 3D plant engineering suite
Plant and factory layout projects can be speeded up using the latest in intelligent, dynamic 3D editing software.
CAD Schroer's new Version 5 of its 3D plant engineering suite MPDS4 offers an integrated 2D/3D design environment for project engineering efficiency. Version 5 of MPDS4 claims to enhance usability, administration and design productivity and the latest user interface introduces new colours, icons and optimised dialogs for clarity and efficiency.
The MPDS4 includes enhanced dynamic drag and drop editing of routed components, such as pipes, ducts and cables. Version 5.0 is also said to make it even easier to intelligently adjust the position of individual components, such as tanks or machinery, with connections to other components automatically adjusted to the new position.
