Bizerba slices costs

Bizerba has launched its latest in slicing technology with an intelligent slicing machine that is claimed to slice, weigh and save money.

The integrated weighing function of the new A 510 slicing machine is a world-first, according to Bizerba, as meat and sausages are weighed and sliced in exact portions according to the defined weight. Thus, the Bizerba software constantly compares the total weight of the slices with the predefined weight and regulates the thickness of the slices during the slicing process.

With products such as ham, the meat can be cut exactly to a predefined weight, so that the demands of various customers for fixed-weight packages can be met with minimal give-away. This is even the case when slicing uncalibrated products, added the company.
