Moy Park general manager joins Bernard Matthews
Andrew Ballantyne has joined Norfolk processing group Bernard Matthews as its agricultural director.
Mr Ballantyne, previously general manager at Moy Park, was ultimately responsible for a team of 450 and over 100 farms at the poultry processing company.
Jeff Halliwell, Bernard Matthews UK managing director said: "Andrew brings extensive experience of managing large farming operations and a wealth of expertise within the poultry industry."
Ballantyne commented: "I am delighted to be joining Bernard Matthews at a very exciting time for the business. The company has been at the forefront of innovation within the poultry industry."
Ballantyne began working in the poultry industry in 1983 for Padleys and joined Moy Park in 2001. He has a HND in Microbiology and a Higher Technical Diploma in Food Science and Technology.
