Allen Coder for Broad Oak Farm
The Broad Oak Farm Sausage Company has selected Allen Coding Systems to supply a new continuous thermal transfer coder for its production line.
The new 53LTc, a continuous version of Allen Coding's 53LTi coder, is now fitted to a sausage flow-wrapping machine at Broad Oak Farm and has to cope with up to 30 different formats.
Part of the global ITW Group, Allen Coding has a longstanding relationship with Broad Oak Farm, having supplied three coding machines to its factory near Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. Broad Oak Farm technical director Kennedy Ward said: "We chose Allen Coding's competitively priced 53LTc continuous thermal transfer coder to replace an older TT53 Koder system which was coming to the end of its life.
"However, the main reason for working with Allen Coding Systems is for the reliability, training, support and personal service the company provides."
