Container move for Pointon
GW Containers & Equipment has signed a one-year agreement with animal by-product and food waste disposal company John Pointon & Sons to supply the Saeplast double-walled insulated food container.
The agreement will see Pointon purchase in excess of 1,000 containers over the next 12 months and is seen as a major step to Pointon's ongoing commitment to becoming the number one food waste company in the UK.
Pointon has put a system in place to help track and monitor the containers, using sequential numbering. It is hoped this system will help to not only improve working practices, but also reduce the amount of lost and stolen containers. By having a unique colour and company logo, it is anticipated that the containers are less likely to be mixed up and can easily be recognised by collecting drivers.
