Barbecue event a sizzling success

Q Guild corporate member Dalziel was supported by Sauce-it with Verstegen, MRC, Enterpack, Robot-Coupe and Lucas, which were all present to display their products to the butchers.

Tom said: "There was a great atmosphere at the event and we were delighted with the turnout. Q Guild Butchers stand for excellence and innovation and it is great that we can work with our corporate members to ensure we deliver both in our summer product range. I would like to thank everyone involved for making the evening a such great success."

David Darrock and Donald Graham from Dalziel used the large barbecues to cook-off products focused towards the football World Cup in South Africa and summer ranges.

David Smith from Sauce-it with Verstegen was also on hand to provide members with information on their new range of South African barbecue products, with many new ideas and marinades, along with profitable salad lines. In addition, the concept Wings and Wedges was sampled, showing a highly profitable idea utilising two ingredients.
