World Cup butcher winners

 - Published:  01 June, 2010

Two lucky butchers will be jetting off to South Africa to catch an England World Cup match after scooping the prize in a competition organised by ingredients supplier MRC.

Martin Blackwell, of Blackwell's Butchers, Cleveland, and James Robertshaw, Keelham Hall Farm Shop, Bradford, were the winners in MRC's recent World Cup promotion. The two butchers will be flying out to South Africa to see England face Algeria on 18 June in Capetown. The prize also features a studio tour with BBC Match of the Day analyst Lee Dixon.

Filmor Casings' John Hollingworth will join the two butchers after winning the sales incentive challenge for achieving the most growth of MRC's 2.5kg Red Tub World Cup squad, featuring flavours such as Piri Piri, Smoky BBQ and Italian.
