Cherry Valley duck signed for Compass

Duck supplier Cherry Valley is to become the approved supplier to contract caterer Compass Group serving meat to Michelin starred restaurants.

The company’s Farm Fresh Duck will be supplied through Compass for catering at high profile events and venues including restaurants and sporting venues.

Cherry Valley Lincolnshire Farm Fresh Duck Legs, Breasts and Whole Ducks will support Compass’ commitment to sourcing British produce, the company added.

Compass Group UK and Ireland meat buyer Chris Ling said: “Compass has developed an enhanced welfare duck range as we believe it is important that our clients and consumers know they are getting the best standards from farm to fork. Farm Fresh Duck from Cherry Valley is ideal in offering this choice with the back up of the RSPCA Freedom Foods standard.”

Rachael Bennett, Cherry Valley marketing manager said the company was delighted to have secured the listing as its produce will appear on menus at high profile events and respected establishments and venues.
