Butchers offered advice in fighting supermarkets

Profit in recovery is the key theme at the National Federation of Meat & Food Traders (NFMFT) Conference next week, which aims to advise butchers on how to cope against the supermarkets.

The event, on 9 June at the Coventry Transport Museum starting at 10am, will include expert speakers and exhibitors offering services and products, which will help businesses and their profits.


Speakers include marketing lecturer Dr Harjit Sekhon of Coventry University, Dominic Christie-Brown, a regional director of financial advisor Secantor, Acas senior advisor Pat Hicks speaking on Human Resources, and Coventry City Council environmental health manager Geoff Makin.

A free lunch is also on offer if a booking is made for the event by 4 June (Friday).
