Handtmann makes improved links
Handtmann was generating strong interest on its stand at IFFA, with the launch of its ConPro linking system, a new addition to its ConPro line, a continuous filling system for sausage production.
The new system, which uses a liquid VegaCasing application, allows for a linking effect on each sausage, says Martyn Garrod, MD of Handtmann UK. "The end is now completely closed and rounded, giving it a linked appearance like a traditional sausage."
The system ensures that the sausage can be filled, formed and packed without human intervention, meaning it requires no handling, he added.
Another addition to the Handtmann line-up is the PVLS125, a new addition to its AL range, designed to improve throughput and enhance quality and appearance for sausages in natural casings. Garrod added: "With gentle product handling and a new innovative cutting system, the PVLS 125 produces top-quality products at higher volumes."
