Chambers Butchers wins top Q Guild award

Julie Henshaw from Chambers Butchers in Nottingham was awarded Best Overall Product at the Q Guild East Region BBQ Competition and Product Evaluation.

Julie prepared and cooked Chinese King Ribs, which took the coveted ‘Best Overall Product’ title.

She said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive these awards. We hope they are as popular with the customers this summer as they have been with the judges!

"As a Q Guild member, we regard ourselves as among the best butchers in Britain and this proves we have the products to match.”

The Best Sausage Award went to Scotch Beef for David Harrison’s Turkey, Pork and Cranberry Sausage.

The Best Burger and the Most Innovative Product went to Duncan Hepburn for his Moroccan Lamb Burger, while best Overall Corporate Member Product went to David Smith from Dalziel for his Kebab for Two – “Carnivores’ Delight”.
