Fortress awaits awards show
Designer and manufacturer of metal detection systems Fortress Technology has announced that it has been shortlisted for 'Company of the Year' in the 2010 Food Processing Awards. This latest recognition follows a record 28% increase in global sales during the past 12 months, the company added.
Winners for the 2010 Food Processing Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony, to be held on 29 April at the Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicestershire, where Fortress will find out if it is successful.
MD Sarah Ketchin said: "We are delighted to be nominated for this award. The significant increase in sales has meant we've been able to grow our sales force, develop new products and expand our distributor network to include Eastern Europe, all of which provides a stable platform for future ambitious growth. This ongoing success can be attributed to a flexible approach, unrivalled market knowledge and an in-depth understanding of our customers' businesses and requirements."
