Roberts serve up new mini joints
A traditional Sunday roast is always a popular choice and now UK food company, Roberts of Port Dinorwic, is supplying a new range of mini joints to meet the ongoing demand.
The slow-cooked joints are suitable for an individual serving and come in a number of traditional varieties, including beef, pork, lamb, turkey as well as duck and a range of game.
And to excite taste buds further, a range of delicious marinades can be added to give even more flavour. These include pork infused with rosemary, fennel and sage, succulent beef pre-marinated in red wine, and honey-glazed lamb, infused with rosemary.
Because they are supplied as individual portions, which can be cooked quickly on demand, pubs and restaurants are able to offer an extensive range of quality dishes to suit all tastes. The joints can be regenerated quickly in a busy kitchen, with the minimum of skill.
Miriam Roberts, Roberts' trading director, said: "We take a huge amount of the preparation out of the equation and supply really tasty, slow-cooked joints, which can be prepared very quickly. The customer can enjoy traditional, well-prepared food with none of the time and hassle of preparing it themselves - while the foodservice operator benefits from the speed and ease of preparation. We are finding they are a very popular choice with our customers."
Roberts of Port Dinorwic is a leading food manufacturer, supplying a range of recipe dishes to the foodservice industry and meat products to the food processing and ready meals sector.
