Real Meat takes on Chillnet in delivery expansion
The Real Meat Company has overhauled its transport system, using national delivery service Chillnet to distribute its products.
The move now means any butcher in the UK can become a Real Meat stockist or franchisee previously, those wanting to join the Real Meat Company would have needed to be within reach of the company's "milk round" delivery system, said managing director Richard Guy.
The Real Meat Company aims to provide high-welfare meat that is not available in supermarkets and larger retailers, and supplies beef, lamb, pork, chicken, bacon and eggs.
