Eblex to hold Devon meeting for livestock farmers
Levy-paying livestock farmers are being given their chance to air their views on climate change and export markets at an Eblex meeting on 19 April.
Taking place at the Exeter Livestock Centre, farmers will be given marketing advice, export tips, and sessions on how to maximise carcase value.
The event will also look at how beef and sheep producers can limit their impact on climate change.
"The meeting will address some of the key challenges faced by the red meat sector today, so it’s a valuable event for anyone in the beef and sheep industry," said Dr Phil Hadley, Eblex senior regional manager – southern region.
"We hope plenty of local producers will take this opportunity to meet with us and learn more about the work we’re doing on their behalf."
The event will begin at 5.45pm. To book a free place, call Selma Todd on 0870 608 6610 or email selma.todd@eblex.org.uk. For more information visit www.eblex.org.uk
