Meat and Poultry Processing Awards 2010

The 2010 Meat and Poultry Processing Awards took place at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham on Monday 22nd March.

UK giant Samworth Brothers was named Processor of the Year after beating off some strong competition in the first ever Meat & Poultry Processing Awards.

Chief executive Brian Stein said he was "very pleased" to win the award. "After a difficult few years for the sector, things are picking up and we saw some growth last year. We have a wonderful workforce, and our business is really something special. It's great to be recognised for this.”
