New burger concept opens in central London

 - Published:  10 March, 2010

A new burger restaurant, heavily promoted on Facebook and Twitter, has opened near London’s Oxford Street.

The W1 venue offers beef, turkey or grilled chicken breast as three-course meals or quick burgers, topped with bacon, onion rings, even avocado and cottage cheese.

A jokey war theme continues throughout, with slogans relating to armed conflict such as ‘The People’s Patty’, ‘Drop Food Not Bombs’ and ‘Buns Not Guns’.

The restaurant opened on 17 February and may form part of a roll-out concept.

Twitter and Facebook pages for the new venue combine staff comment, booking requests and reviews.
