New TV series to raise sheep industry profile

A new primetime BBC2 series will bring sheepmeat production in the UK to greater prominence.

Called Lambing Live, the show will run during the crucial lambing period, for five nights from March 7,

The programme will be shown live from a 900-ewe farm in South Wales run by the Beavan family.

Lambing Live will be presented by Kate Humble and Countryfile presenter and farmer Adam Henson.
