£1,000 pig and poultry prize launched
Prize money of £1,000 is being offered to anyone under 35 who can come up with the most innovative marketing concept for British pig or poultry products.
Nutrition company ABN, partner of the Royal Agricultural Society of England’s (RASE) British Pig and Poultry Fair, has created the new prize, the ABN Innovation Award. Young staff at companies in the sector, or college and university students are being encouraged to enter.
The award will be presented at the RASE/ABN British Pig and Poultry Fair, at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, on May 12.
“We are looking for fresh ideas that could add value to our industry,” said ABN commercial services director Angela Booth. “This award is open to anyone with an exciting idea for marketing British pig or poultry food products to consumers and strengthening our industry.”
Entrants are asked to submit a concept in any form, by post or email for 9 April. Visit the RASE/ABN award page for more details and an entry form.
