Outlook conference announces green focus
This year’s Bpex and Eblex Outlook Conference will focus on climate change and how it affects consumer perception and the working of the supply chain, as well as forecasts for 2010 and beyond.
Senior economic forecaster with the Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board Market Intelligence Mark Topliff said: “This is an invaluable event for the industry, government, retailers, processors and consultants. The really hot topic at the moment is climate change and that will feature heavily in the programme.”
The event on 14 April will be held at 1 Gt George St in London. The final list of speakers will be finalised soon, with booking details available in early March.
The Outlook Conference used to be held at the end of January, but was postponed due to bad weather last year. The new date in April proved so popular that it has a new home in the calendar.
