Vion hits heights with Alpina
Vion Food Group has installed a Tipper Tie Alpina 550-litre Swopper bowl-cutter, the largest in the Alpina range, from UK distributor Bryant. The cutter is located at the firm's Hull plant, where it will be used for the production of sausage emulsions. The Alpina cutters have a combination of eight knife speeds, four bowl speeds and precisely matched bowl and cutter chamber geometry. The Swopper cutter series comes in five different sizes, ranging from 80 to 550 litres, and is available with a range of options, including varying degrees of automation and processing controls.
