Laserprinting to create strong image
The UK arm of European packaging supplier Van Der Windt has launched a new technique that allows customers to brand their products using specialist Laserprint technology.
Van Der Windt UK, a member of the international Clondalkin Group, has said it can Laserprint logos and names to food application films, offering a new way to promote products. Van Der Windt UK general manager Richard Selby said: "Laserprint offers an eye-catching way to ensure brand promotion continues all the way from the supermarket shelf to when the product is cooked and ready to be served."
Advantages of the new Laserprint finish, compared to traditional ink printing, said Van Der Windt include quicker turnaround on jobs, facilitating faster response times and added flexibility in the delivery of promotional messages. Laserprinting can also handle short-run smaller production quantities alongside long-run larger production quantities.
Selby added: "This product, we believe, is a world-first and can be easily adapted to suit particular needs."
