SuperMeat & Fish Awards

The 2012 SuperMeat & Fish Awards will take place on Thursday 5th July at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London.

Asda were named the Meat & Fish Retailer of the Year 2011 at the SuperMeat & Fish Awards, which took place on Thursday 7th July at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane.

Judges said that this year Asda has raised its standards to new heights. It has invested heavily in improving the quality of its products, and the progress made is reflected in the fact that Asda has won four product categories this year. 

Sainsbury's picked up the award for Best Overall Product for their Taste the Difference Beef Bourguignon and Julien Pursglove, Product Technologist for Sainsbury's Meat and Fish counters was named the Meat Industry Personality of the Year 2011.
