Independent's Day
Devised specially for independent butchers this day is devoted to product competitions, evaluations and practical ‘how to’ workshops. First held at Foodex Meatex in 2006 when the focus was on sausages and pies it will return at the next show in 2008. In years when Foodex Meatex is not held it will be staged at alternative venues with the 2007 Day currently being planned around pies, sausages and barbecues.
