Although mutton has been unfashionable and largely unmarketable for the best part of 50 years it has literally enjoyed something of a renaissance recently with a campaign initiated by HRH The Prince of Wales aimed at reviving interest in it. It retains popularity among some of the UK’s diverse range of ethnic communities. It has a distinct season from October to March.
