SA Sheep 2010, the industry’s premier biennial initiative, will be staged at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, on Tuesday, August 3 by the National Sheep Association and co-organiser the Three Counties Agricultural Society.
The event will build on NSA Sheep 2008, which attracted 220 exhibitors offering technical and business advice, and included 52 breed societies and associations.
More than 10,000 farmers and industry representatives from throughout the UK attended the event, along with more 100 overseas visitors from 10 different countries, including official inward missions from France, Romania, and Russia.
For the 2010 event, a series of informative seminars complementing the wide range of educational and commercial trade stands is also planned, offering the complete package for the entire sheep sector.

The Dairy Event and Livestock Show, now in its 134th year, is the UK’s largest livestock trade show with over 450 exhibitors.
The event attracts 14,500 visitors from all parts of the UK together with international visitors from over 30 different countries. Britain’s leading dairy farmers account for the majority of visitors which together with the large beef, sheep and goat farmers attending, make this the business to business event for the livestock industry.
This year the show moves to the NEC making it much easier to get to. There’s direct access by car from the M42 and M6 to FREE PARKING and Birmingham International airport and railway station are just a 10-15 minute under cover walk away. New coloured coded zones will also make it easy for visitors to find their way around the exhibits.

The exciting new Beef South West event will take place at Exeter Livestock Centre, Devon on Wednesday 29th September 2010, on a wave of renewed optimism for British beef.
Organised by the National Beef Association South West, this dynamic one day event will showcase the breadth and depth of quality breeding and production, with the focus on profit and performance. The West country is a major player in the UK with 20% of the national cattle herd.
Highlights include a major primestock show, cattle auction, cookery and butchery theatre as well forage and technology transfer features. Involving young beef producers of the future is a key objective of the event to encourage increased beef production in the South West.
The NBA South West have moved the event, now in its 4th record year, to Exeter Livestock Centre from Hatherleigh to benefit from the excellent transport links, including M5 motorway, Exeter Airport and St David's Intercity rail station - making it easier than ever for beef producers from all over the UK to come to the show and have a great day out.
